The Cerro Ena Race is a 29km trail race through the mountains around San Jerónimo run on March 31st, 2019. The trail navigates difficult terrain, starting in the village center and culminating on top of one of the highest mountains in the country, Cerro Ena. In its 29km it boasts over 6,000ft, 2,000 meters, in elevation gain. On the trail, runners will pass through multiple different biomes, finishing in the high altitude paramó at 3,000 meters. There will also be activities in the town throughout the weekend!
Note: Due to the attempt to cut back on the environmental impact of the race, the use of a hydration system is obligatory. There will be assistance stations throughout the trail where you can refill your water bottle or hydration pack.
