Cerro Ena, a peak in the Talamanca Mountain Range, is situated at 3126 meters (10255 feet). Located in the Southern Pacific area of Costa Rica, it resides within the protected ˝Área de Conservación La Amistad˝, an international park shared between Costa Rica and Panama. Due to the parks unique environments, and the flora and fauna that inhabit them, the park was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1989. The ascent of Cerro Ena is 12 km (7.5 miles), lasting approximately six hours one-way. The trip length is optional, but a full three-day trek is recommended, as this option provides the complete experience. Presenting the opportunity to discover and explore one of the most beautiful, hidden peaks of the Talamanca Range.
